-I'm back in my room now that my grandmother's better
-I moved my computer back
-tidied up the room a bit
-I NEED to sleep in a regular bed rather than on our couch since it was messing up my back
-My dad and step-mom are moving/have moved to Missourri
-however they still need to come back a few more times because of their jobs
-I got the cash my mom left me from my dad ($3500.00)
-spent $500 of it on groceries
-I changed some info on my bank account
-new email address
-REAL last name (my mom was married to another man when my dad 'seduced' her)
-I opened a savings account and put my 3 grand in there, along with my first tax rebate
-I forgot to do my taxes last year, so I got another tax rebate coming soon, so I'll add that in as well
-I got direct deposit at work, since I keep getting paydays off for some reason...
-since I get my paycheck a day early, I check my account each week and move a certain amount from checking into savings
-if my paycheck ends in $25.00 or above I move that amount into savings
-if it ends in less that $25.00, I still put $25.00 in savings
-I called my phone company and paid off the rest of my plan so now my phone bill is down from $145 each month to less than $80.00
-a few days before the next bill is due I'm going to sign up for automatic pay so it'll cost $10.00 less, thus saving more
-I got my first COVID shot at work
-paid off the hospital bills for the foods that got stuck in my throat
-come next month my cousin and I are gonna do some practice driving tests online
-I plan on taking the ACTUAL driving test for my permit towards the end of summer, then signing up for driving lessons
-I got 2 weeks paid vacation from work
-the last week of august (week of my Birthday)
-middle of October (week of Grandma's Birthday)
alright, seems like I've updated enough!
Just got back from the hospital.
Grandma made steaks last night and, me being me, I got too excited and took to big of bites. 2 big pieces were caught in my throat. I could still breathe but nothing else could go down. Anything I drank came right back up.
I had to go the hospital to get them removed.
I waited in a room for a bit, laying in bed and watching Star Wars episode V.
Later on I was told to change into a hospital robe. They rolled me to the pre-op room, then rolled me to another room. One minute I'm talking to the doctor, having devices stuck into me and told what's gonna happen and the next thing I know I'm waking up and feeling a bit groggy. Got a ride home, called my dad on my way home.
Once I got home, I ate some pita chips, drank some apple juice, then lied down for a bit.
Still a little weak, but will be better by tomorrow.
I'm just happy my job gives me medical insurance and I didn't have to pay exuberant amounts of money just to get 2 bites of steak removed from my throat.
